G8 DCW 2026

G8 has successfully launched its Advanced Hydro-cooled Data Center (AHDC) for Busan AI Data Center Project during Data Center World Event 2026. The project targets an initial Phase 1 ramp up capacity of 120MW in 2028 with qualified operators with dual line of 154kV power allocated to the site by Korea Electric Cooperation KEPCO.

Each AHDC system is specifically engineered to house 40MW of next generation high density AI Racks which requires immense cooling and power deliver. AHDC addresses this by utilizing a Closed Loop High Volumetric Thermal Transfer of liquid cooled servers to the ocean via Nuclear Reactor Utility Grade Hydro Cooling technology utilizing the cooler ocean front temperatures of 15 Deg C. This is combined further with 5MW of Solar Power and Regenerative systems on-site to achieve the lowest PUE possible for each 40MW AI capacity scalable to 500MW upwards.

''Hydro Cooling utilizes a primary cooling medium that is 4000 times more conductive than conventional evaporative chillers. The thermal energy dissipates to the ocean with the lowest environmental impact and achieves with the highest thermal transfer performance onboard each AHDC system for the highest density AI Data Center developments and reducing energy consumption down to 50%'' Commented G8 Energy Managing Director , Gerald Tan.

AHDC addresses the exponential increase of power and water consumption for large scaled AI - Data Centers world wide through the use of marine industry certified proven engineering and patented technologies for sustainable AI Developments.
